Spicy Miso Mayo


Spicy Miso Mayonnaise, like a good sarachee, is one of those condiments that makes everything better. It’s an amazing kid-approved dip for fresh veggies, a flavor-packed alternative to salad dressings, and just the spread to give your sandwich a stand-out kick. This spicy miso mayo can also be substituted for regular mayonnaise in your favorite cold salads like potato, egg, tofu, or chicken. The recipe is super simple, which lends to its absolute lovability.

This is not an exact science, add more mayo to make it milder and/or go easy on the chili oil if you (or your children) are sensitive to spicy foods.

To make whisk together the following:

  • 1 Cup Mayonnaise (I ♥ Soy-Free Vegenaise, or Homemade)
  • 2 Tbs Miso (I ♥ Miso Master Soy-Free Chickpea Miso)
  • 1/2-1 tsp Hot Chili Oil (Depending on heat desired)

Tip: Start with less hot chili oil and gradually add in a little more. A little goes a long way!
